There is only one user
switch, Format, which allows selection of either Portrait or Landscape paper
orientation. When in Portrait position and standard letter size paper is
loaded into the printer with portrait orientation, the data (text and
graphics) is printed in a compressed mode such that 132 columns of text or
the width of a graphic screen print will fit across the 8 ˝ inch paper
width. When the Format switch is in the Landscape position and letter size
paper is loaded into the printer with landscape orientation, the data is
printed in standard width mode such that 132 columns of text or the width of
a graphic screen print will fit down the 11” paper length.
There is a reset button on
the rear panel of the translator should the unit need to be reset. |
